Regenix traces its origins to 1996, when its visionary founder, Dr. A. Ramamurthy, a gold medalist in Internal Medicine from Madras University, set out to empower doctor-entrepreneurs striving to manage hospitals, pharmacies, and diagnostic centres more efficiently. Following the successful sale of his first venture, Grandix, in 2006, Dr. Ramamurthy embarked on a new journey by founding Regenix Drugs Ltd in 2007–08, marking the beginning of a transformative chapter in India’s pharmaceutical landscape.
The Regenix Group today operates across five successful business verticals - pharma, formulations, manufacturing, marketing, and exports, reflecting its strength and diversity within the healthcare ecosystem. Its Supermed and Regenix Superlabs divisions provide a strong retail presence through an extensive network of pharmacies and diagnostic centres, while Mur & Mur Bioscience manages the import and marketing of chromogenics. The Regenix Biosimilars division oversees the manufacturing and marketing of advanced biologic therapies, driving the Group’s vision of accessible, high-quality healthcare.
